Alec Laughlin in studio (33x51.5 inches, framed)

Charcoal on re-purposed drywall. 2015, Titus Castanza. Custom shadowbox wood frame, stained black. The drywall has a floating shadow edge. Please note this is a somewhat heavy piece, approx 45lbs.

This piece was done on a piece of repurposed drywall that came from my studio renovation. It was sitting around for months, leaning in the hallway, before it occurred to me that I should do something with it. (actual drywall measures 29.5x53 inches)
